Never Bet the Farm3 [W7] – Lucky #7

October 22, 2022

Lucky #7 is here, and I could certainly use some good gambling fortune.

I’m due you could say.

Luckily, I got a feeling in my gut.

Could it be related to a somewhat unhealthy meal I had earlier?

Uh, I guess, but mind your business…

I’m taking it as a sign of good bets to come.

So without any further delay, let’s get into my lucky action for Week 7.

Mr. Yours Truly, Mr. SportsKnowItAll, is going with the luckiest 6-game parlay mixed between college football and the NFL.

‘Never Bet the Farm3’ Week 7:

Ohio State -29.5 vs Iowa
Ole Miss +1.5 @ LSU
OVER 46.5 total pts. UNLV @ Notre Dame
KC Chiefs -1.5 @ SF 49ers
NY Giant +3.0 @ Jax Jaguars
OVER 38.0 total pts. NY Jets @ DEN Broncos

Insights:

Ohio State is too good for the Big10+. And the Buckeye offense is too good for this high spread, especially at home against Iowa. Look for OSU to win and cover pretty easily!

Two offensive “geniuses” are going head to head on Saturday, but I think Ole Miss is more advanced now. BK will eventually get LSU to their dominant ways; however, they’re going to struggle at home again. Ole Miss is nicely set up for a road win in Baton Rouge.

Octobers in northern Indiana can get cold, but it’s unseasonably warm now, and I’m looking for a shootout — or at least when compared to 46.5 total points. Going with the over!

Mahomes and the Chiefs need to get back to their winning ways. A road trip might serve them nicely. Look for Kansas City to win by a touchdown+.

The Giants are a little dinged up with injuries. Jacksonville is still Jacksonville. In Daniel Jones we trust… I’m looking for New York to at least cover if not win.

Speaking of NYC (or more specifically Jersey), the Jets are for real too. Heck, Sauce even wore a cheesehead after last week’s win. All New York state teams are good in the NFL this year. No matter how odd that sounds. With all that said, Denver and scoring points haven’t really gone hand-in-hand this season so far. But I’m looking for the Jets to make up the difference. I’m going with the over.
