Never Bet the Farm3 [W5] – Over/Under

October 8, 2022

The Over/Under bet has been good to me this season (so far).

It’s practically a 50/50 chance, right?

In fact, there have been many low-scoring NFL games this season.

Is it the defenses?

Poor offenses?

More importantly, what does it mean for future wagering?

No worries…

Let’s get right into the action for Week 5.

Mr. Yours Truly, Mr. SportsKnowItAll, is going with the overachiever 6-game parlay mixed between college football and the NFL.

‘Never Bet the Farm3’ Week 5:

Ohio -11.0 vs Akron
Texas A&M +24.0 @ Alabama
Tulsa -6.0 @ Navy
DET Lions +3.0 @ NE Patriots
GB Packers -8.0 vs NY Giants
OVER 45.5 pts PIT Steelers @ BUF Bills

Insights:

It’s homecoming in Athens, Ohio, and the Bobcats have a favorable matchup against Akron. Remember, there’s little defense played in the MAC, so look for Ohio to win by two touchdowns+.

Texas A&M beat Alabama last year! Will it happen again? I don’t think so, but I do think the 24-point spread is too high. This game should be much closer. Look for the Aggies to cover the spread, yet lose!

Tulsa is an underrated offensive team, and I believe that firepower will be way too much for Navy. Look for the Golden Hurricane to win and cover easily!

Detriot and New England are both a little dinged up, but I truly believe the Lions are the better overall team this season (WoW, that was weird to type out). That’s why I am taking Detriot and three points.

The Giants have surprised me this season (so far), but the Packers offense will be too much in Green Bay. Look for the Packers to win by 10+ points!

This one may surprise you, but I expect the Steelers and Bills game to be high scoring. The Bills need to get back to their dominant ways, and that offense is explosive enough to score the over solo. The Steelers are starting their rookie quarterback, so I expect Pittsburgh to fall behind early and open up the playbook at the end. That will equal either more points or more interceptions (which leads to more points). Go with the over!

The neat Barstool Sportsbook & Casino App bet builder shows me how $10 now will stretch into $485.47 before you’re sitting in traffic Monday morning.

Badda-bing, Badda-boom.

EASY MONEY !!!

Just remember all you wannabes…

Don’t bet any more than you’re willing to lose, and never bet the farm3.
