Never Bet the Farm3 [W3] – Closer, closer

September 24, 2022

Closer and closer…

This has got to be the week, right?

I went 4-2 last week, and although I rarely look back in my betting life (wish I followed the same principles in my dating life), I think it’s important to point out my undefeated professional picks.

Got let down by those darn college kids.

I knew we should have never given them money.

Eh, what can you do? You live, you learn, you get back up on the horse, and you make more picks. So, let’s get right into it!

Here’s the action for Week 3.

Mr. Yours Truly, Mr. SportsKnowItAll, is going with a closer-style, 6-game parlay mixed evenly between college football and the NFL.

‘Never Bet the Farm3’ Week 3:

Clemson -7.0 @ Wake Forest
North Carolina -1.5 vs Notre Dame
San Diego St. +3.0 vs Toledo
KC Chiefs -5.5 @ IND Colts
LA Chargers -3.0 vs JAX Jaguars
BAL Ravens -2.5 @ NE Patriots

Insights:

Is Clemson “back” to its former elite status? I don’t personally think so, but they’re still better than the rest of the ACC. Wake Forest should stand no chance. Look for Clemson to cover by two touchdowns+.

Notre Dame is having a difficult start to their season with new Head Coach Marcus Freeman. I hope the university is in for the long haul because it’s not getting easier this week. On the road in North Carolina, look for the Tar Heels to cover.

Toledo scored 21 points against Ohio State last week. Problem was… They gave up 77 points. San Diego State is no Ohio State, but I still don’t like Toledo’s chances this week. That’s a long way to travel, and look for the Aztecs to cover by a touchdown+.

The Colts are looking for their first win, and I don’t see that happening against Mahomes & Co. The Chiefs may be missing Tyreek’s speed, but the offense is still good enough to travel. Look for Kansas City to cover as Indy struggles again.

No, I’m not worried about Justin Herbert’s ribs. I still think he’ll play, but even if he doesn’t, I think this is a trap game for the Jaguars. After a big win at home last week, Jacksonville has to travel all the way out west. I think this might be too much for such a young team. The Chargers should win by a touchdown.

The Ravens have put up 62 points so far this season (that’s only two weeks). Is it obvious Lamar is in a contract year? For comparison, the Patriots have only put up 24 points this season. Even playing in New England, I think the Ravens have way too much offensive firepower. Look for Baltimore to win by a touchdown+.

Closer Picks on Barstool Sportsbook & Casino App

The Barstool Sportsbook & Casino App, (and its fancy bet builder), explains how $10 now can turn into $458.09 before your boss starts yelling at you on Monday. Badda-bing, Badda-boom.

Now, closer only counts in horseshoes, hand grenades, and sports spreads…

So, we’re sitting pretty for a win this week!

It couldn’t be closer.

EASY MONEY !!!

Just remember all you wannabes…

Don’t bet any more than you’re willing to lose, and never bet the farm3.
