An underreaction.
It’s really the only way to combat the yearly Week 1 overreactions.
They come every season, at this same time, to confuse everyone except the oddsmakers (somehow).
By underreacting, you take the power back (which is everything in a relationship – just ask my ex). It’s important to know this dynamic, but the underreaction can be difficult to master with sports betting.
Lucky for you, I’m here…
And I’m feeling surprisingly generous.
So, here’s my action for this Week 2 weekend.
Mr. Yours Truly, Mr. SportsKnowItAll, set himself up for a happy underreaction with this 6-game parlay between college football and the NFL.
‘Never Bet the Farm3’ Week 2:
Georgia -25.0 @ South Carolina
Marshall -16.0 @ Bowling Green
Auburn +3.0 vs Penn State
UCF -8.0 @ Florida Atlantic
UNDER 40.5 pts. NE Patriots @ PIT Steelers
TB Buccaneers -2.5 @ NO Saints
Insights:
Georgia is a DAWG and no spread is safe. Enough said!
After upsetting Notre Dame last week, the Thundering Herd are ready to prove it was no fluke. Bowling Green should stand no chance. Look for a 20+ win by Marshall.
I don’t care about Penn State being ranked. It’s tough to travel to Auburn. Between lions and tigers, look for the War Eagles to cover the spread — maybe even win!
There are many “Battles for Florida” because there are too many college teams in Florida. In THIS Battle for Florida, look for UCF to beat up on FAU. Should be an easier cover!
Defense wins championships, but two poor offenses (Patriots vs Steelers) make me want the under. Look for this one to be low scoring and maybe even boring.
The Saints found a way to win last week, but I don’t see the same thing happening to the Buccaneers. Winston isn’t quite ready to take on the GOAT. Look for Tampa Bay to cover.

The Barstool Sportsbook & Casino App, and its nifty bet builder, show us how $10 can magically turn into $441.16 before Sunday turns into a pumpkin. Badda-bing, Badda-boom.
EASY MONEY !!!
Now don’t call it a comeback, it’s just a timely underreaction.
But remember all you wannabes…
Don’t bet any more than you’re willing to lose, and never bet the farm3.
