64 & Counting (Part 2)

March 18, 2022

64 & counting…

Or, well, I guess it’s way fewer now.

48 & counting then…

Luckily for us, that still means there are plenty of great matchups to choose.

Let’s get right into it!

Mr. Yours Truly, a.k.a. the genius who brought you Never Bet the Farm (Part 1 & Part 2), Mr. SportsKnowItAll, is picking a Cinderella-style 5-game parlay in Men’s NCAA tournament action on Friday.

64 & Counting (Part 2):

Loyola Chicago +0.5 vs Ohio State
Michigan State -1 vs Davidson
CSU Fullerton +19 vs Duke
Houston -8.5 vs UAB
Auburn -15.5 vs Jacksonville State

Insights:

Does Loyola Chicago have any more magic left in those dancing shoes from 2018 and 2021?

I don’t like dancing, personally, and time will tell on how this Loyola Chicago team ranks against previous ones. Look for them to take care of business against a shaking Ohio State.

Michigan State has had an odd year all-in-all, but they looked better in the BigTen Tournament than weeks past. Plus, they’re always a tough matchup in March. Look for them to advance!

Duke is trying to send their head coach Mike Krzyzewski into retirement a champion. They succeeded with that for the regular season! They failed at that for the conference tournament. How will they do in the 64 & counting? I think the Blue Devils will come out tense on Friday as they have for several other big games this year. Duke should win easily, but this spread is loose. Look for it to be a low-double-digit deficit.

Houston is awesome! If you don’t know, now you know. I’m not too concerned with an 8.5 point spread either. The Cougars are physical and play great defense. That travels almost anywhere.

Although Auburn lost in the SEC tournament, they were impressive in their defeat. The team is built on gutsy guard play, and we all know that works in March. Look for Auburn to come out motivated and run away with it.

As you might notice, I placed this bet through the nifty Barstool Sportsbook & Casino App. It helps illustrate how my $10 now should become $246.86 before the carriage turns into a pumpkin on Friday.

Couldn’t have been easier with the app!

I didn’t even have to go inside the casino.

Badda-bing, Badda-boom.

EASIEST MONEY!

Hurry up and get those bets down.

64 & counting is getting lower and lower.

Just remember all you wannabes…

Don’t bet any more than you’re willing to lose, and never bet the farm.
