Never Bet the Farm2 [W18] – Hail Mary

January 9, 2022

Hail Mary time, bettors!

Our backs are against the wall…

The regular season is coming to a close…

And the Mrs. is going to be asking about this missing money come April…

(not to mention the OTHER money)

So, it’s time to win and end in the green.

Only takes one the way we’re betting.

Let’s get right into it then.

Mr. Yours Truly, Mr. SportsKnowItAll, is going with this last-second Sunday heave of a 6-game parlay. Something straight out of Aaron Rogers’ playbook (hopefully). Or should I have said that in the form of a question?

‘Never Bet the Farm2’ Week 18:

PIT Steelers +3.5 @ BAL Ravens
JAX Jaguars +15.5 vs IND Colts
TB Buccaneers -8.5 vs CAR Panthers
NE Patriots -6.5 @ MIA Dolphins
LA Rams -4 vs SF 49ers
MIN Vikings -4.5 vs CHI Bears

Insights:

Big Ben’s last game ever… Unless the Steelers somehow stumble into the playoffs (watch out for a Chargers-Raiders tie). It’s a long shot, but I think Pittsburgh takes care of their end. That was downright magical last Monday night. Don’t look for it to be as emotional in Baltimore, but the Steelers should cover and even win.

The next step to Big Ben’s playoff run involves the Jaguars beating the Colts. It was fun while it lasted, Ben. Having said that, in Jacksonville, look for the Jags to keep it closer than excepted and cover at least.

Tampa Bay @ home this year… Need I say more? I don’t care about AB. Look for the Buccaneers to win big!

Miami is generally a tricky place for New England, but the Dolphins are overmatched here. The Patriots are even more motivated with an outside shot of still winning the AFC East. Look for New England to win by 10+.

The Rams are playing to cement a NFC West division title. The 49ers are playing to stay in the playoffs as a wildcard. It should be a close game early but look for LA to win by a touchdown+.

The Vikings and Bears aren’t playing for much more than cash and pride on Sunday. Both teams are out of the playoffs, and in that case, I generally go with the home team in the final week. Plus, the Vikings are the better team here. Look for Minnesota to win by 10+.

The nifty bet builder shows me how a final $10 should bring back $488.34. Badda-bing, Badda-boom.

EASY MONEY!

Easily covering all the Never Bet the Farm2 losses this season.

Ending in the green.

And you know this!

Like there was ever any doubt, right?

Now toss-up that hail mary.

Just remember all you wannabes…

Don’t bet any more than you’re willing to lose, and never bet the farm2.
