It’s either lightning in a bottle.
Or I just clearly missed a direct sign from God.
Here’s the scene…
I walk into the sportsbook today to place my action.
Make sure to wink at the new waitress.
(Because you know it’s only a matter of time)
I sit down at the screen, and before I can even click on anything, the lights flicker in the sportsbook. I pause because it takes me off guard.
It’s way too early to be drunkenly nodding off. What gives?
Then the entire casino and sportsbook lose power.
Had to wait 15+ mins for the machines to turn back on…
Of course, all of us said we had money in our respective machines. Unluckily, their report didn’t really back up all of our claims (Take all the shots you can tho).
The whole ordeal made me question myself for a second.
Is this lightning strike (i.e. Act of God) a good sign? Or bad?
I guess we’ll find out soon enough.
Because you know I still placed the bet. Let’s get right into it!
Mr. Yours Truly, Mr. SportsKnowItAll, is going with an electric 6-game parlay between college and professional football.
‘Never Bet the Farm2’ Week 11:
Michigan State +19.5 @ Ohio State
UTSA -5 vs UAB
Oregon +3 @ Utah
BAL Ravens -5 @ CHI Bears
GB Packers -2.5 @ MIN Vikings
KC Chiefs -2.5 vs DAL Cowboys
Insights:
The Big10 is still up for grabs, and the oddsmakers clearly like the Buckeyes. This is WAY TOO MANY points to cover on Saturday. Look for Ohio State to still win, but the game will be within two touchdowns, so MSU covers.
UTSA is the closest thing to a sure bet in sports. At home and against UAB, look for the Roadrunners to win by a touchdown+.
The #3 team in the College Football Playoff rankings is a 3-point dog on the road. Seems like a solid bet. In my opinion, Oregon is better on the road in fact. Look for the Ducks to play spoiler in Salt Lake City.
The Ravens sit on top of the AFC North but only one win separates them from everybody else. They need to win way more than the Bears who are still finding their way. Lamar will be too much. Look for the Ravens to cover.
Despite the injuries, Green Bay is still the best NFC North team by far. The Vikings are a tough team, but the Packers will be too much in the end. Look for them to win by a field goal+.
Travis Kelce should have already told you out front…
The Chiefs got their swagger back. Everyone run! Look for them to start rolling, which includes an easy cover on Sunday.
This nifty bet builder shows us how $10 down should become $488.29 like a strike of lightning. Badda-bing, Badda-boom.
EASY MONEY!
Better get those bets down before the weather turns.
Looks like green dollar-sign skies on the horizon.
Just remember all you wannabes…
Don’t bet any more than you’re willing to lose, and never bet the farm2.
