Never Bet the Farm2 [W6] – NFL

October 17, 2021

NFL Edition: School’s Out!

Time to work with the higher paid athletes — the real professionals — because let’s be honest, regardless of any old-school rules, all of these guys were getting paid some ca$h in college.

You know… The “extra” money.

But I’ll stop talking now before I get anybody in trouble.

A true gambler knows better than to ruin a tilted game for others.

It really gets back to what Granny would say when she was running numbers and babysitting us. “Mind your own beeswax, kid!”

And it really doesn’t get any more difficult than that.

Not that anybody practices it anymore.

Either way, I digress. It’s Sunday’s action, so let’s get at it!

Mr. Yours Truly, Mr. SportsKnowItAll, is closing the week out with a must-have, season-changing 5-game NFL parlay.

Here’s my NFL ‘never bet the farm2’ action for Week 6:

MIA Dolphins -2.5 @ JAX Jaguars
KC Chiefs -7 @ WAS Football Team
PIT Steelers -5.5 vs SEA Seahawks
OVER 43.5 Total Points for LV Raiders @ DEN Broncos
OVER 43.5 Total Points for HOU Texans @ IND Colts

Insights:

It’s a bit of a stretch to call the Jags a home team in London, and I don’t see them getting their first win of the year there either. London games can sometimes get embarrassing too. Don’t be surprised if Miami covers easy.

The Chiefs need a win. Look for them to figure things out offensively in D.C.

The Steelers are beat up, but the Seahawks are in worst shape. Big Ben will be able to move the ball well enough to cover a touchdown-plus.

The Raiders are wrapping up one of the most uncomfortable weeks in franchise history. I don’t know if they beat the Broncos in Denver, but I do think both teams will score on each other (likely with ease). I think the total points spread is low on this one too, so I took the over.

In similar fashion, I took the over in the Houston vs Indianapolis game. Look for them to put up more points than expected in the house that Peyton built.

My NFL Bet Builder Screenshot

This nifty bet builder shows me the small $10 investment I’m putting down should bring back a solid $233.61. Badda-bing, Badda-boom.

EASY MONEY!

Now get to it young padawan. No time better than the present.

Just remember all you wannabes…

Don’t bet any more than you’re willing to lose, and never bet the farm2.
