Never Bet the Farm [Week 9]

November 7, 2020

At least I didn’t bet the farm because last week didn’t go “exactly” according to plan.

What about it? Who do you think you are?

Did you do any better?

I wasn’t too far off either.

In fact, I was a perfect 3-0 in my college football bets.

We just won’t talk about the NFL bets that were part of that 6-team parlay from last week (1-2).

Makes sense too… I’ve always done better with college brauds as opposed to professionals (those lovely ladies expect money from you — just don’t mention any of that around my girlfriend… Or the wife for that matter).

But momma didn’t raise no fool.

I learned from my mistakes last week.

And I ain’t losing again.

Mr. Yours Truly, Mr. SportsKnowItAll is playing an all collegiate 5-game parlay this week.

Badda-bing, badda-boom. Easy money!

Here’s the action for this week:

Tulane – 3 @ East Carolina
Michigan -3.5 @ Indiana
UMass +44.5 @ Marshall
Notre Dame +6 vs. Clemson
West Virginia +5.5 @ Texas

Looking at this fancy bet builder, it looks like my $10 now should turn into $238.86 after getting this action down.

What?

You want more details?

You want to know my reasons why?

You want inside this Know-It-All sports mind?

You’re not ready…

It’s a dark scary place where things get twisted and manipulated into a mix of potential energy, probable outcomes, and plenty of scotch.

Your mind and liver can’t handle it!

It’s not all roses. Ignorance is always bliss. Remember that.

Just take my word for it.

I got a feeling, you know?

Well, I better make moves before the lines change again.

To be honest, if I would have gotten here earlier (and had one less at the bar before here), this would have been a 6-game parlay.

But a Know-It-All never reaches for a line that moves away from his odds. Don’t be stuck to your ideas!

And remember all you wannabes, don’t bet any more than you’re willing to lose, and never bet the farm!
