My New Hourly Rate $207,500/hour

March 3, 2017

Officially, I’m happy to announce my new hourly rate… $207,500/hour.

What? Do you think that’s too much to ask for?

It’s not!

The Golden State Warriors just paid that to Jose Calderon.

Needless to say, it’s been an interesting week for him.

Let me recap…

First, the 35-year-old guard negotiated a buyout with the Los Angeles Lakers for this season, and he was all set to sign with the Warriors for $415,000 (not too bad to chase a championship).

But… Sometimes things don’t work out.

Kevin Durant got hurt, and Golden State needed to rethink their strategy.

They decided to sign Matt Barnes instead… Ouch, right?

Luckily… Sometimes things pay out too.

Golden State honored their agreement with Calderon.

They signed him for two hours, paid him the originally agreed amount, and released him on March 1, which allows him to still sign with a playoff team.

That’s $207,500/hour… And they gave him some jerseys.

I wonder if Jose Calderon sells those jerseys to maximize his profits.

I’d buy one… It’s a piece of contract history.

And well done Warriors!

I like to see an organization honoring its contracts. That’s why the NFL kinda sucks, although fantasy football saves everything.

I’m now applying for ANY employer who is offering $207,500/hour. Know of any?

If it’s necessary, I am willing to furnish my own work uniform.

No jersey necessary… Where should I submit my resume?
